What I liked
The entrance to RDU is clean has interesting wall displays and the chapel is very welcoming.
What could be improved
My aunt is a patient on RDU following a stroke, her daytime care is exemplary, multi disciplinary approach assisting her recovery appropriately. Her night time care is less supportive, she is continent, verified by her medical notes, and yet is left to wet herself even when asking for a commode which she finds distressing. Notes have been left with the staff, but one wonders if night staff find it expedient to use a pad, rather than 'lift' a patient out of bed?
Anything else?
Who, from senior management 'monitors' levels of care during night time on the wards? What are their findings?,
