"Fibromyalgia doesn't exist. Use it or loose it."

About: Orsett Hospital

I was seen by the pain clinic.

I was hoping to be given some help with coping with my condition.

Instead I was told.

Use it or loose it. This was meant to tell me to try harder to walk, stand, and exercise.

I don't have as much pain as I think I have. This meant it's all in my head.

I should of gone to the pain work shop and I was at fault because I couldn't cope with the pain sitting on hard chairs causes.

I would never ever recommend my consultant nor the pain clinic at orrsett hospital.

If your problem isn't main stream and easy to fix they just don't want to know.

Both my husband and myself couldn't believe what we was told.

I have now managed to get myself an appointment at the leading chronic pain hospital in England. It may be a long way to go, but I'm glad I will be treated by people who understand my illness.
