"Medical ward"

Credit has to go to some staff who were truly caring and helpful.

These workers deserve the best, so it is with frustration and sadness that I can't rate the hospital positively overall.

The hospital is ultra clean and modern.

However, the co ordination between staff and departments is terrible.

Not just the medical side but social services (discharge team) as well.

Take note. Don't promise to call relatives back who are desperately waiting to get updates on their loved ones and then don't bother to call them back.

If you say something is going to happen then see it through but don't leave relatives waiting for callbacks that never happen and then expect them to do all the chasing up on your behalf.

It's rude and unprofessional.

Also, one staff member behaved inappropriately. I will be submitting a separate complaint about this individual.
