I suffered from very bad backache, which moved round under my ribs and caused great pain, I was unable to breathe properly. I went to Northern General A&E, then stayed overnight on the medical assessment ward. The standard of cleanliness on the ward was excellent.
The doctor who treated me was great and the nurses were with me at all times, answering my questions as best as they could.
Nothing could have been better, my wife and I were treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Everyone I came into contact with was pleasant, very caring and very professional. I have nothing but thanks for their care of me.
If I knew his name, I would thank the doctor (a locum with a very long surname) who was really concerned about me. I would also like to thank the female nurse (a Filipino woman) who gave me confidence.
