About: Royal Derby Hospital

I am a member of staff, and my heart sank when I had to bring my daughter to the emergency department and the queue was out of the inner door.

Once we were seen by triage I can't fault the department, especially the lovely doctor who treated my daughter and myself politely respectfully and kept us well informed,even staying over their shift to make sure she was going to be observed.

The department was extremely busy but everyone we met from porters, hca's, student nurses, nurses and doctors were kind and helpful and compassionate.
