"The promp action and excellent attention given to a patient"

About: The Royal Glamorgan Hospital

(as other),

I have emailed the Cwm Taff Health board with this story, last Wednesday on ward 3 of the Royal Glam we were chatting and having a few jokes and it was good fun, the person who was in the bed across from me suddenly had the most horrendous seizure luckily HCA Anthony and student nurse Nicola were with the patient and tried with remarkable strength to stop him from going over the rails of his bed, then leading nurse Sam and HCS Bev were quickly on the scene to help they were to say the least awesome a doctor was nearby to help and within a few minutes a full were working on the patient. The pain and obvious agony the patient was in upset us all in the ward but the prompt action he was given was excellent,  after about 1hour 30mins he was transferred to HDU for further help,

Royal Glamorgan Hospital should be very proud of the following on ward 3

Leading nurse Sam

HCA Anthony

HCA Bev

Student nurse Nicola, who injured her shoulder we wish her well

Also HCA, s Cerys, Emma, Agartha and many more

All the student nurses who help so much

All the Blue Nurses who worked tirelessly to help everyone

The cleaners all pleasant and the lady who brings the food superb

Be very proud of this ward it is excellent, I know when I go for my operation the care and attention will be first class.

It, s a pity the communication between the consultant and doctors to the nursing staff and patients is not better.

Thank you ward 3

Gladly the patient came back to the ward in a different part of ward 3, so we wish him well.
