"Gall bladder removal operation"

About: Whiston Hospital

Having arrived at 1030hrs for my operation and then waited until 1535hrs when I was told that my operation was cancelled due to no beds available.

I was not happy about this as there was talk of patients arriving at 0700hrs (16 in nubmber) and there was only 1 bed available.

It was bad enough being told m operation was cancelled but to have to wait 5 hours before being told is difficult to understand.

During this time all pre op procedures were done even to me being rushed into a cubicle to get changed.

Not happy.
