I have already left a review re my own successful surgery but I felt I wanted to comment on the out patients service.

while waiting for my appointment I noted a drinks machine had been installed and while donations are appreciated the drinks were free so a boon to anyone on a low income.

the one thing I observed was how staff treated patients - making sure they were comfortable, offering to get them a drink while waiting for transport, chasing up hospital transport and ordering a taxi and reassuring that it will arrive at the accessible entrance.

It just goes to show that staff here really care about patients and obviously go the extra mile to ensure their comfort.
