"A&E receptionist rude"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

When I arrived at A&E I was made to feel very unwelcome by the receptionist. I was not treated very well and it took some convincing to be admitted after I mentioned a doctor friend of mine recommended I go to A&E, based on my symptoms. It is not their place to decide whether someone should be using the service, this should be assessed by trained medical staff. I found the overall manner of the receptionist to be rude and disrespectful. As it turns out I did have something that required medical attention.
