Like most of the NHS unfortunately left hand does not know what the right hand is doing,give the patient lots of pain killers and get rid of them!,what MRI don't be silly yes it will show what the problem is so we can treat the patient properly but we don't do them weekends and bank holidays,get in the 3 month que !!! like everyone else.
