"No need to bother!"

About: Tameside General Hospital

My 17yr old attended the Gynea clinic for her appointment last week, having had to rearrange two prior to this date. She was seen for 7 mins told that they didn't have her original doctors letter so no procedure could be completed due to her age and if her symptoms returned she should get back in touch! Apparently there was no need to waste time getting the undressed. She was patronisingly referred to as a baby! Surely even if a procedure couldn't be completed a visual examination could have been performed to be sure nothing untoward was showing. Surely the doctor has a duty of care to a minor in this situation?
