"End of life care for my father"

About: Arrowe Park Hospital

My father was admitted to ward 33 on Friday 15th April 2016. We were told the next day that due to his terminal cancer he only had several days, or weeks to live.

From that point my father was given excellent care and our family were given so much support and information about what to expect. Sadly my father died quickly & peacefully the following Tuesday in the hospital.

On behalf of my family I would like to thank all the staff on ward 33 who made my father's last days so comfortable for him. You were all so kind and supportive to our family which made such a difficult time easier for us to cope with. All too often people are quick to complain about hospitals and I felt it important to give my opinion on the opposite. It's a shame that not enough people do the same.
