"A massive thank you to Children's A & E"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I took my son Cameron there for the fourth time in as many weeks.

Initially I thought we were going to be "fobbed off" yet again but then the sister in A & E went out of their way to help us.

They spoke to the doctor on our behalf, checked previous records of our attendance there then sat and explained to us in such a way that Cameron understood why he was in pain and why it was happening.

Up to that point Cameron was in pain and scared but he now feels much happier and understands why he was in pain.

I think that the sister went much further than their job required and wish to say a massive thank you to them and for all their help - they cannot imagine what a difference their help has been.

Kind Regards

Kim Goodwright

Dear Ms Goodwright

Thank you taking the time to post this lovely feedback regarding a recent visit to the Children's A&E Department. It is good to read that a staff member made such a difference to your son, that he is now much happier. Your comments have been passed onto the A&E Department.

With best wishes
