"I am really grateful"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Maternity care (wards 68, 72 &73)

(as the patient),

A year ago I went in to have my little girl through a c-section to find out my stomach had burst but there was this one gynecologist called Mr Richards who I would really like to thank. He was amazing actually, made me feel so safe in his hands guy is a mirical worker in my eyes, so if anybody could pass the message on and tell him I am really grateful.

I work in a small team within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Part of the team’s role is to support patients and carers through our feedback systems which will help to improve the services we provide. On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.

Dear Leano

Thank you for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion. I am so pleased to hear that although complicated, the birth or your little girl went well. As you say, it is so important that our patients feel safe in our care and I will ensure your thanks are passed on.

All the very best for you and your little girl.

Best wishes

Lisa
