"Physiotherapy at Coleman Street Derby"

About: Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust / Physiotherapy

(as the patient),

In August 2015 I was referred to Coleman St by my GP for physio after damaging a cartilage. Tony the physiotherapist was excellent and we discussed sports that I could take up to further help the process. As I had fenced many years ago the lunging exercises persuaded me to go back to the sport. I joined a local club in the November of the same year. In March 2016 I entered the British Veterans Championships, my first competition in about 30 years. Last weekend, I was a member of the Great Britain team fencing in the European Veterans Team Championships where we won gold beating Italy in the final. I would like to thank Tony for his expert help in enabling me to achieve this. Happy to supply photos/video of the medal ceremony.

Dear Fencer,

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I am very pleased that you was so happy with the service that Tony provided and that you are back competing again. Unfortunately Tony left the service recently but I have forwarded the comments to him and I am sure he will be delighted to know how much his treatment helped.

Kind Regards
