"Reluctant Endoscopy patient!"

About: Winfield Hospital

I was admitted to Winfield Hospital as a day patient for an Endoscopy procedure.

My decision to choose to have my treatment at this hospital was due to the extremely low infection rates, shorter waiting time and the fact that a consultant would be performing the investigation.

I was really anxious about having this investigation but the doctor and staff were so patient and kind that is was far less traumatic than I had imagined.

I was well informed at every step of the way and felt fully involved in my care which made the whole experience less stressful for me.

All staff were so professional and friendly so I would have no hesitation in recommending this hospital to family and friends. Thank you all so much.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments. I will make sure the endoscopy staff read them.

Coming in to hospital is often very frightening so hopefully your comments will reassure other people facing a similar situation.
