"Good experience at A&E and with surgical team"

I recently took my son to A&E and he underwent an emergency appendectomy. The staff who dealt with us were very kind and professional. I am a member of staff in another part of the hospital myself. I was impressed that we were seen by the surgeon on call who decided to operate that night. My son was operated on at 11pm I was notified that all was well at 1am and before 1pm the next day he was discharged home! He is doing well, the only improvement could have been a follow up call just to check that all was well and answer any queries we might have had following the operation.
