"Appointment given one year later"

After visiting to my dentist I was referred to Royal County Hospital Hampshire oral department. In March 2009 I went for an assessment to have teeth removed and the appointment came through for February a year later. I then had a message on my answer machine a week before the appointment to say it had been cancelled due to the building had been condemned. I think this was not a sudden event and patients' operations should have been re-scheduled. I am left in pain and unable to have my dentist do the work because I have had heart surgery and I am on Warfarin. I think this can not continue as every day that goes by my teeth break a little more. When I phoned to ask when the new appointment was going to be, I felt like I was given the impression it will be another year.
