It was a nice change to have my 12 week scan at Bolton 1 rather than at the hospital, there was one of each staff type available (sonographer, healthcare worker and midwife) and so the wait time was reasonable as patients had been booked in accordingly.
The staff were very considerate of my needs when they were running a bit late and I was starting to feel quite uncomfortable, which is a huge change from the hospital where I felt like my discomfort was annoying the staff, at Bolton 1 they did as much to help as possible.
It was a very positive visit and is a great idea to reduce the stress on the staff at the hospital. Its a shame its only 12 week scans done there and I cant go back for my 20 week scan
