I want to highlight my bad experience of Community Mental Health Services in the Taunton and how I think they leave patients in dangerous situations. I was found by Police not feeling well and very suicidal, taken to Musgrove Park Hospital unconscious, when awoke assessed by a doctor/social worker, I stated I felt suicidal, they told me they would find me some support from Foundation House Recovery Team and Crisis Team.
I have been home for 3 weeks suffering with thoughts of taking my life, have heard from nobody. I rang to find about if I was on a list but nobody knew anything and they said I was not entitled to any help/support.
I think Mental Health Services in Taunton/Yeovil are taking risks with people's lives because of lack of resources and bad attitudes/low morale of certain staff. I found them extremely unhelpful, when trying to get myself the treatment I need.
My experience is of Mallard Court/Foundation House Community Mental Health Teams.
