"Rude staff!"

About: Watford General Hospital

I woke up with a terrible neck spasm. I couldn't move at all I couldn't get up or anything I was in so much pain I felt like my head was about to fall off. I have never had a neck spasm like that I had no idea what was wrong or what to do so I called an ambulance. They came straight aways and helped me with the pain. Then I was told to go to hospital because it was so bad it won't go away on its on and I needed special painkillers. Everyone was friendly and tried to help me as much as possible I was seen straight away and was told I will need rehabilitation. I got the painkiller which helped and I was told to come back at 1 to see the doctor out of hours. I still couldn't move my neck to the left of down but I could slowly walk. I was promised I would be seen straight away but have been waiting for over an hour but that's not a problem! I was so disgusted when I came back and then to A&E reception to ask where I need to go the person there asked me about everything and then told me that it was inappropriate to call an ambulance for neck pain! I mean seriously?! It wasn't just a little neck pain! I couldn't move at all I felt like someone has stabbed me in a neck and every time I moved even a little I was screaming in pain! I have a 6 months old baby I pick her up or look after her because I couldn't move! I had no idea what to do and I couldn't go to the doctors myself because as I said 100 times before I could not move. I think it's so disgusting to tell someone that it's inappropriate to call an ambulance when you need help!
