"Never have a baby at Kingston"

About: Kingston Hospital

I had pre eclampsia was made to feel I was putting them out of place having to attended hospital every week. at 33 weeks was told I had to stay in was than put on high dependency unit and induced and put on nil by mouth. 2 days later they broke my waters, by this point I felt very weak and ill from pre eclampsia and from not eating. I asked for c section as I knew I was to weak and the doctor had said when breakin my waters it's going to be a difficult labour she is not in the right position they were right. I dialated very quickly and was in a lot of pain, asked for more pain relief as gas and air was not helping they said no I had ages to go to I told them I need to push they laughed at me and said I was being silly until I opened my legs n pushed regardless so they than had to push alarms and where running around like headless chickens. I than had to have a forcep delivery as baby was not in right position and I didn't have energy to push no more. than after care was disgusting. I was put on hdu again for 2 days unable to see my daughter as she developed hyperthermia 7 hours after birth and was taking to neonatal. I had to keep asking for updates to be told when they are not busy they will try find out. I was by my self no pictures of her, was worse feeling in world. than I was finally allowed of hdu they put me in a single room with a curtain stand which offered no privacy partners was allowed to stay I told nurses I was uncomfortable with this and they told me was nothing they could do. I also explained I would like to see my son who I have not seen in a week as of bein on hdu and him being autistic would not cope with lady I had to share room with crying and screaming in pain. I had to see my son in your car park in my mums car. if I ever have another baby you could not pay me to give birth there!
