Staff were never to busy to attend to the needs of my brother who at times was very demanding and hard work. Staff are under pressure to meet individual needs, it's a demanding job and the clients they look after are not exactly easy, I work in care so I understand the pressures. Being an all male environment make it a little easier for staff to meet their needs, unlike foxglove who never seemed to talk to us when we visited.
Staff on sampire need a medal, I brought them chocolates which they excepted with smiles and thanks, only a little gesture for the care they give, especially health care worker who job is cleaning feeding personal care, doing washing being on computer and pretty much run the ward. But they gain a good repor with the patients.
Good job st martins for hiring the nicest staff to care for my brother. Being sectioned isn't easy.
Put yourself in the staff shoes.
