(as a relative),

Since my wife developed kidney problems some years ago the Freeman Hospital staff have taken exceptional care of my wife, particularly wards 1, 3 & 29 but many other areas too with the various scans and tests, consultations etc. etc..

When she suffered a pulmonary embolism I felt like it was the end of the world and there is no doubt she is only alive today thanks to the wonderful package of care, professionalism and support she`s always received there. Nothing goes unexplained or is any trouble, in fact we`ve never came across anyone who felt differently, we just haven`t.

We are just ordinary, run of the mill people yet we believe the staff at the Freeman to be exceptional, they go to great lengths to put you at ease and keep things in context, far beyond any experience we have received in other hospitals previously although we mean no disrespect to them of course.

Well done Freeman hospital and everyone there, thanks from the bottom of our hearts, please don`t change a thing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review on our Urology department, the staff on the wards were delighted to receive your comments. It really means a great deal to us all to know that the staff’s hard work and effort is recognised and appreciated. We would like to take this opportunity to wish your wife a speedy recovery.
