Visited with my 80 year old Mum a few days after she had had a fall and banged her shoulder. As so often with that generation she didn`t want to "make a fuss". However it was clear she was in pain so we drove across from Wales. Turned out she had no movement in her right arm as well as the pain so dropped into the Minor Injuries centre.
There was only one patient in the waiting room so, after completing the questionnaire she was seen very quickly and then had an X ray.
Stronger painkillers prescribed and details of Physio given to follow up.
All in all we were in and out in just over 30 minutes, and she felt much better for having got some professional advice.
Overall a super facility and a credit to everyone.
