"Magical Midwife"

This is a little late in coming (i had my little boy in march) but I still wanted to shout out my HUGE thanks to the amazing midwife and their student helper who helped us have our little boy. This was my second pregnancy so should have been straight forward and much less stressful but having had a bad experience first time round I was full of fear, scares and concerns for this labour. My midwife was so patient, calm and understanding to all my wobbles and questions and expertly guided me and my husband to a very quick and smooth delivery (even though my boy was back to front). I needed no stitches and was discharged within 12hrs which was amazing. I cannot thank both midwife and nurse enough for all they did and staying with us throughout. You moved me round the room from bath to bed and turning me onto my side and the nurse for massage my back through the terrible back pain i went through for hours. You both really are my absolute heros. I hope you get complimented alot but Im sure being NHS you dont so i wanted to make sure, especially at the moment, that you know just how much i value, respect and absolutely worship you for what you did to help me have my baby safely and in such relaxed surroundings. He is now 2 months old and doing well and we are saililng through. Being a second baby there is no time to sit around and nurse injurys or feel tired so we are up and about and enjoying life and that is all thanks to you.

Thank you again for all you did. I hope you continue to guide other mums to be through their journeys with such skill. They will be lucky to have you by their side.
