"C3 and B3"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

After visiting A&E Saturday morning with severe abdominal pains, (I'm 17 weeks pregnant so natural I was terrified) I spent most of the day on C3 and the night and all day Sunday on B3, I would like to say a massive thank you to the surgeon who after being at work all day (a good portion of it spent in theatre) who came to check on me at 12:30am to make sure I was ok, the healthcare who made me toast at 3am so I wouldn't go hungry (I wasn't allowed to eat for 6 hours before having an ultrasound at 11am on the Sunday) and to the ultrasound tech who checked on baby and letting me listen to the heartbeat to put my mind at rest (baby was perfectly ok) before checking on my pain, and lastly to the nurses to sat talking to me when I got emotional and hormonal with worry (1st pregnancy), I'm home now and feeling a bit better but you all made a stressful and worrying time less so, so again thank you for everything you did for me, especially on a weekend, your all angels xx

Many thanks for your comments.

I have shared these with the Emergency Department team and the ward teams you mention.

I am pleased to hear that you are now feeling a bit better and that you felt reassured by the members of staff looking after you.

I hope that your pregnancy progresses with no further worries. Take care.

Kind regards
