I became very ill in February this year, diagnosed at a later date as e-coli. This then caused severe sepsis. The doctor fortunately identified the symptoms and sent me to hospital where I was immediately admitted and put on IV drip antibiotics and fluid. I was in hospital for almost a week and I firmly believe that had the doctor not identified my illness at a relatively early stage I may well have died.
Whilst in hospital I received a telephone call from the doctor asking how I was progressing. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness. It is a busy practice and for the doctor to show this level of care is greatly appreciated.
The doctor continues to monitor my condition.
I must also comment on how good the staff and the nurse were to me during this time.
"Excellent health care by my doctor."
