"Uncontactable"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

I received a letter about a pre-assessment telephone appointment for the 6th May, then I received another one for the same thing on the 9th, then a text today reminding me about the 6th but worded in such a way as to indicate I had to attend the hospital. I rang the waiting list co-ordinator, no answer, then a message saying they were away till yesterday and not to leave a message but instead to ring another number. I did but it just rings forever. I have tried both numbers over and over again with the same result

Dear Jon,

I am so sorry to hear about the confusing messages you are receiving from us and also that we are not responding to your calls at all.

Please may you email me on Sally.smith2@nhs.net with your details and a contact number and I will personally ask one of the team to call you or email you.

Once again, please accept my apologies. It is worrying enough having to attend an appointment without all of this pressure for you.

Best regards,

Sally
