"Wonderful care in A/E and the frail elderly..."

About: Burton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Mum was admitted to A/E after sustaining a nasty head wound in a fall at home. At all times she was treated with respect, kindness and dignity. She was seen promptly, and had an excellent assessment from the frail elderly team which enabled us to go home with equipment to maintain her independence and safety. Mum remarked afterwards that she felt she really mattered to the staff.
