"Lack of care"

About: New Cross Hospital

my mother in law was admitted four weeks ago.

Her medical treatment was fine. However her nursing car was not.

My mother in laws legs are covered in sores.

Her dressings were not changed for 3 days.

The sister advised that the hospital had run out of dressings

Her teeth were not brushed for 4 weeks

Her hair was not washed for 4 weeks

Bed baths were cursory

Mum called for help to go to the toilet.

It did not arrive she wet herself.

Her pants were removed, rung out and left just next to the bed.

This is totally indignified for a lady of 96 given a MBE for helping the elderly.
