"My experience at Worksop children's centres."

I first went to north Worksop children's centre when my other half went back to work. After having a baby I felt quite isolated and alone. When I went through the door I burst into tears. The staff at the centre were fantastic, reassuring and very helpful. They provided me with support with my new baby and my new life changes. I was helped with breast feeding support and somewhere to weigh my baby. I attend bumps and babes and as my child grew wobbly ones and stay and play. Along the way both myself and my children as I now have 2 have made lifelong friends at the centres. Both have loved baby massage and sure baby. The centre has also helped and encouraged me to start my own childminding business. I am so thank full for the centres (as I have attended different events at many of them). I always feel like a valued member of their family when I visit. Thank you.

It is so important that parents feel able to approach our staff and share how they are feeling with us. The changes that come with having a new born can be overwhelming. Many parents sit in silence when all they need is a listening ear, someone to reassure them they are doing a good job and provide advice / support where needed. I am pleased that the centre offered you all of this and that your experience has meant you have continue to access the services on offer. Hearing that you have also been encouraged in starting your own childminding business just shows how a little help can make a huge difference. We wish you all the best in your new venture and hope to see your continued enjoyment in the centre. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
