"Wish I had never gone"

About: St Helier Hospital

I wish I'd never gone for this surgery. I was booked in to have two wisdom teeth removed the first tooth was removed reasonably ok the 2nd

Howeverthere was a far different affair the surgeon struggled to get the second tooth out and left me with half a root in my mouth they struggledfor an hour trying to get the second tooth out they gave up and decided to sow the cut gum back over the root. After being sown up I was told to expect a little pain after anaesthetic had wore off which was reasonable.

I arrived home with a swollen face and took pain killers which numbed pain.

It is now a week on and swelling has gone but pain is still there . It's 3 in the morning and I am awake after having to take pain killers

I'm really annoyed that I went in with no pain and am now suffering.

I wish I had never gone . I have been in constant pain since going to unit and feel that I was fobbed off by by surgeon that could not complete the task of extraction.

As soon as morning arrives I am calling them up to get this half finished job completed! This tooth did not hurt before I visited this department now I have had a week of misery.
