"Antenatal clinic - ultrasound scan"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

It was a torture for me. I've been kept for nearly 3 hours to do a scan which usualy takes 20 minutes. At the begining sonographer complained about the bladder not being full enought and adviced me to have additional 2 pints of water and asked me to come back in the next 15 minutes, which I did. After a 30 minutes of extra waiting I thoutght my bladder would explode. On the 2nd attempt sonographer complained that the bladder is too full and adviced me to empty it half way. Then sonographer complained about bowel gasses which distruct the picture, later there was even more complaining about babys position and some other difficulties. The measurments of the baby sonographer took varied alot so I'm not even sure if the date the sonographer's given me is correct or if it's just a guess or an average. The sonographer wasn't able to do a measure for Down, Edwards and Patou syndrome. So after almost 3 hours all I know is that my baby is alive and my bladder is in pain. I also recived a photo which I belive is not mine just because at the time the photo was taken I was still at work. But there is my name on it so I'm a bit confused. Maybe they just need to change the time on the machine however how can I trust them if they can't even set the correct time on the machine?
