My father spent the last 2 and a half weeks of his life in the General Intensive Care Ward. The treatment and care he received was second to none. 24 hour care, not just medical, every aspect of his care. Every time we visited, he was clean shaven, washed and changed and had beautiful soft skin due to the dedicated nurses spending time moisturising him. His position was moved every couple of hours, not one bed sore in sight. We were informed every step of the way what was happening and were able to call to speak to his nurse 24hours a day. Unfortunately, he passed away, but it was as calm and peaceful as it could have possibly been, due to the care he and we received.
