Our first visit to the Niall Quinn Centre yesterday for a consultation with the allergy team. The consultant was fantastic and really took the time to explain everything in full regarding our daughters condition.
After listening to the consultant I do feel that had we had the correct explanation from our GP surgery regarding our daughters care plan then it would have saved us a trip to hospital and freed up an appointment for someone else which longer term would reduce hospital waiting times overall, but that is not a fault with the hospital. It was a common sense explanation delivered in the most understandable way.
All staff we came into contact with at the centre were fantastic, friendly and patient and I cannot praise them enough.
