"Kept waiting"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

I went in for gall bladder removal and because I am a diabetic on insulin, they decided to keep me in overnight, the care I received in recovery was brilliant ,but not the 10 hours I had to wait for a bed.

Dear Elizabeth,

Thank you for your kind comments regarding the care you received at Lincoln County Hospital.

If you would like me to pass these on to the specific team members who dealt with your care, would you please e-mail me at Sharon.kidd@ulh.nhs.uk with your name, date of birth and your NHS number, if you have it.

These details will also allow us to review why you had to wait for a bed and then I can explain why there was such a lengthy delay

With regards,

Sharon Kidd, Patient Experience Manager
