About: The Royal London Hospital For Integrated Medicine

(as the patient),

What I liked

I liked the holistic approach and the positive attitude and belief of all the staff. My doctor always takes time, is thorough, easy to talk to and totally dedicated to their patients and job. I also like the fact that the homeopathy/acupuncture combination I receive does work!

What could be improved

The receptionists always appear snowed under and harassed (although patient and polite). And patients sometimes have to wait a long time - can the differing time needs of patients not be better catered for in the appointments system?

Anything else?

Referral to RLHH should be a normal option for people with problems responding poorly to conventional medical help - not something you only get if you know to ask for it and your doctor is convinced about 'complementary medicine'. Which, I appreciate, would require expansion of its already overstretched outpatient services.
