"I am an outpatient and while waiting ..."

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

I am an outpatient and while waiting in the waiting room there are often people who come down from the ward. I think that it is very undignified for them to be left in their nighties with the other outpatients and sometimes they are very distressed. Could they not have a private room to wait or better still could the doctors not visit them in the ward. The last time I was there an elderly lady was wimpering for someone to take her back to the ward but although the nurses were very kind to her she had to wait for a porter.

Many thanks for your email, it is always appreciated when patients take the opportunity to provide feedback.

I will pass on your concerns to the appropriate managers who will address these issues with the appropriate members of staff.

Kind regards
