"Moving on from the Douglas Grant"

About: Ayrshire Central Hospital / Douglas Grant Rehabilitation Centre

(as a service user),

I first attended 2014, if you asked me back then if I would have the physical and mental state I am today I would have laughed. But thanks to the great help from Alison, Daryl and Denise. I am now in a far better place and the tools to move forward. I am thankful that I am now moving on from the centre and knowing I can return for support if necessary gives me great comfort. I am thankful for the support, help and tools given from the Douglas Grant Centre. I know I still long way to go but I feel now I have tools to move forward.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Hello again Michael Juggernaut,

It is great to hear how well you have been progressing and that you feel so well supported. You and the team must be proud of your achievement and I wish you continued progress. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know about your care, I will pass this to the teams to take their pat on the back.

Best wishes,

Eunice
