About: Homerton University Hospital

It was my major first experience in the hospital: I gave birth to my first child on 16th April.

I couldn't have wanted more: the staff was just amazing, caring, attentive, warm and made us feel as if our experience was unique and important for them, instead of one of 1000 deliveries they need to do.

I would recommend the maternity unit to everyone!

And a special thank you to the maternity ward midwives in particular, one who helped us during the hardest part of the labor and after. This midwife was absolutely brilliant and looked after me!

The doctor who delivered my boy.
