"Professional care, but poor cleanliness at Lewisham"

I went to the Clinical Investigation Unit at Lewisham Hospital as a day case, for a lower GI endoscopy. The examination was done professionally but with kindness and understanding of the possible embarrassment on the patient's side.

There could have been better directions in the Main Entrance of Outpatients. There were none and someone had to help me.

I thought the standard of cleanliness in the Unit was poor, it looked scruffy.

Both Claire Coghlan, nurse specialist in endoscopy and Nurse Hyacinth were excellent.
