What I liked
The nursing staff extremely professional and friendlu
What could be improved
My surgeon was rude, dismissive and extremely unprofessional. After being reffered to them after seeking a second opinion about a problem of mine that they were doing nothing about, the consultant I had my second opinion from suggested surgery immediately and couldn't understand why I had been left with my problem for 2 years. After a 3 month wait for appointment for Operation, 20 mins before being taken down for op, the surgeon, who turned out to be the original surgeon who refused to operate as they didn't agree with the previous consultant. This would have upset me regardless, as I had worked myself up for an Operation, however, if it had been explained to me that they really wasn't happy doing this op as they still wasn't sure of the problem, but they will send for more test, or scans or biopsy's then I would have accepted it. But this disgrace of a consultant said, and I quote, 'This cyst is still causing you no pain?' Me : No. , ' We will leave it then.'
Resulting in me now having to go to my GP to get referred to another hospital as I have been left with a cyst the size of an egg that this consultant is not willing to do anything about.
