"Totaly useless"

I was given an appointment for a blood test at 12:50. I arrived at 12:52 due to a little traffic and was told that the entire department had gone home and locked up. I pointed out I had an appointment but the receptionist just said "they have gone". No help, no explanation. They did however point out that it was "almost 1pm"

I said my appointment was 12:50 and they just looked at me blankly. In order to have locked up and left before I arrived they must have closed prior to my appointment time which begs the question of why I was given that time? So unprofessional and a total waste of my time. Utterly useless.
