I had day surgery today on my knee and although it was quite a long day overall with waits between the various aspects of admission, prep, operation and recovery I never felt neglected or overlooked. The staff from a student nurse in training through to the porter, anaesthetists and surgeon were all helpful, reassuring and in some cases very entertaining. Many thanks to you all for looking after me so well.
