About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

I live in Morecambe but there are no Retinal surgeons in the Lancaster area to perform the vitrectomy surgery I needed for repair of a macular hole. I was kept in overnight because of the travelling and I have sleep apnea which means i need to wear a mask for sleeping. I can`t praise the staff enough from consultant to cleaner everybody was efficient ,helpful and pleasant. To top it all I only came home yesterday and have just got my follow up appointment in the post. Thank you all the staff that

looked after me so well.
