"wonderful caring staff."

We visited Halton Hospital today where my son was having a operation , we were not looking forward to it to say the least after stories people have said , but i really must be honest here and say we were treated so well , and my son was shown wonderful care and attention from all staff , from the minuet we walked into the hospital we were amazed at how lovely every body was .The staff on the ward in day case were friendly , informative and my son was made to feel relaxed and because he was so nervous everything was fully explained and options were offered so his needs were met .The receptionist knew i was worried about my son and offered the day room for me to wait in and told me about the little coffee bar downstairs , they were so nice to me and understood how i felt .The doctors and nurses were amazing and my son said he could not have wished for a better team . he felt really blessed to have been looked after so well .I am a nurse who is not practising at the moment and i am so keen on bed side manners , and today has given me my faith back in National health care which in the past has let me down . i really am so pleased,and want the public to know what a change in this busy life we all lead to be treated with such loving care Well done to all and keep up the good work .
