"Will never come for help there again"

About: St Albans City Hospital

I have visited the Minor Injuries Unit in St. Albans on the 1st of April to remove the stitches after the operation done in a different country.

Everything went smooth and nice, the staff seemed rather professional and friendly.

Today is exactly 20 days since I have visited the unit. In the span of 20 days I have discovered 4 (!) clearly visible stitches still remaining in the wound.

I discovered the first forgotten stitch on the 6th of April. I thought that we are all people and we all make mistakes from time to time. I managed to remove it myself in order not to disturb the stuff with such a minor issue.

After a week, I found yet another unnoticed stitch. I was getting pretty upset about the service that I received. At this point I didn't want to come back to the unit at all for the reason that the people working there clearly don't pay as much attention to the patients as they should.

Yesterday I found two more stitches left out in my wound. To say the least - I am very angry with the service that I received on the 1st of April.

Four stitches left out/forgotten/unnoticed by the 'professional medical staff' makes me think that the 'professional medical stuff' is a rather optimistic wording.

I would never, and I mean it, NEVER, visit this place again.
