"several appointments"

About: Torbay Hospital

I have been to Ophthalmology at Torbay hospital several times for examinations and a couple of operations,

I lost my right eye when I was 18 months old and have been having problems with an implant that was put in at Plymouth Eye Hospital about 10 years ago, unfortunately this has begun to fail. Sometimes the Eye clinic is very busy but in all the time I been there the staff and consultants have been really good and in my opinion do a very good job, and I have always been informed of possible procedures and what will happen. I am now waiting for another operation and I feel totally at ease with this because I know I will be receiving very good care both before and afterwards.

People do need to be aware that sometimes appointments can take longer and the reason could be because the consultant as to dash off for an emergency (it could be me or you that needs that help) please be patient sometimes your in and out and sometimes your not.

The biggest fault about the hospital is the parking there is not enough spaces, but that`s nothing to with the staff, they suffer the same fate

The N H S is brilliant and its ours and should stay that way.
