"Waiting time for Ambulance service"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a parent/guardian),

On occasions my son has had to wait up to 4 hours for an ambulance to arrive.

We are continually signposted to clinical advisor's despite explaining the situation that to remove pain and suffering a team is required.

Dear RGP

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

I am sorry that you feel that you and your son have encountered delays.

The detail you have provided here has been anonymised so I am unable to locate the details of the 999 calls you have made, so I cannot directly comment on the event.

However, we would welcome the opportunity to look into the care provided to you and your son; if you would like us to do this may I ask you to contact our Patient Experience Team on either swast.patientexperience@nhs.uk or 01392 261 585 and a member of the team will be able to provide information on the next steps.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to share your story with us.

Sara
